"I can do all things, through Christ who gives me strength."
For all of you K-love listeners out there, I am sure you are familiar with the song, 'Strong Enough' by Matthew West--wonderful song. Also, some of the K-love songs have a trend of including bible verses in their songs that allow you to remember the bible verses a lot easier--much like this one. Whenever I think of my favorite bible verse, Phillipians 4:13, I sing the tune in my head--I will never forget it! There is also a song that sings John 3:16 as well (GO TEBOW!)
Anyway, unfortunately nobody has reached out about this blog just yet, hopefully soon God will answer this request. So I ask you again, if you know or have heard of any family, community, friend in need, please reach out to me, contact me and let me know.
We all know what it is like to be broke. I am a graduate student and of course I know was it's like to have twenty dollars to my name for months at a time. I know what it is like to have to resort to eating ramen noodles every night of the week. I also know that there are families out there that are in the same position with AN ENTIRE FAMILY TO FEED. Let's not keep their prayers going in silence. Let's respond and help them, and allow them to receive a blessing from a stranger.
I'm not rich and I surely do not have tons of money to be out spending it luxuriously. However, I do have some money and the will to feed those who are less fortunate or to simply put a smile on someone's face who desperately needs it. Please help me reach this goal.

Blessings of a stranger?
Some may wonder what I mean by blessings of a stranger, how can you exactly receive a blessing from a stranger? Is it them simply letting you out of a parking lot or paying your toll for you on the turnpike? Or is it a larger type of blessing that could be a game changer, a true blessing that will benefit someone's life, family, or friends. I've been doing a lot of reading and thinking a lot about helping others, blessing others in a way that could change their view of humanity, change their view about hope or even shift their views religiously--in a good way of course.
Then I had an idea that I couldn't get out of my head. Why not give back to those who need it, really blow their mind and surprise them with something that they simply don't have the money for. With this economy, families that were once able to buy food once a week can barely even scrounge up enough money to put food on the table for a day. Some are resorting to dollar store items or even Ramen noodles every evening for their family. As a grad student I surely know what it's like to eat Ramen noodles 7 days a week and personally, as many flavors as there are, you STILL get sick of them. I'd like to give an opportunity to families to have the chance to really feed their families well, to get those essentials (bread, milk, eggs, etc.) that they might not have the money for each week.
So here I bring you blessings of a stranger, a reach out to families and friends that need the help. So with this, I need YOUR help. If you know of someone in your church, community, school, etc., that is struggling with providing for their family, I'd like to hear their story.
I'm going to pick two families/households a month to bring a week's worth of groceries to in order to help them provide for their loved ones. This will be a random act of kindness, a surprise that will be left on their doorstep to come home to.
You may contact me through Facebook (this will be linked through facebook), or also on here as a comment--all contacts are welcome. If you do not personally know of someone or a family that is struggling, spread the word of this anyhow, there ARE people out there that can benefit from this even if we do not personally know them. Though I am based in the Pittsburgh area, location is not limited--groceries can be purchased online these days (thank you technology), therefore there are more possibilities than ever!
Thanks everyone, please get the word out and have a blessed day!
